Rehab Care

Movement is the key to independent living. Our dynamic team of therapists works together to ensure your safe recovery so you can get back to your normal life. Their experience and expertise has earned Martha & Mary REHAB an outstanding reputation for geriatric post-acute and rehabilitation care in Kitsap.

Our post-acute rehabilitation services are tailored to your individual needs. We’re located along the shores of Liberty Bay in scenic Poulsbo. Convenient, picturesque and peaceful—the perfect setting for a positive recovery experience.

Physical Therapy

Our compassionate and highly trained physical therapists focus on identification, prevention, and rehabilitation of your physical impairments and pain. Following a thorough evaluation, they will develop an individualized treatment program to improve strength and mobility, manage pain, and improve coordination, balance, and the ability to walk.

Occupational Therapy

Our expert occupational therapy team uses task-based activities to improve your ability to perform tasks essential for daily living, whether you have been impaired by illness, injury or normal aging. This includes helping with wellness maintenance, prevention of further disability, and improving functional independence (such as eating, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, housekeeping, and cooking).

Speech Therapy

Our speech therapists offer treatment programs designed to improve your communication skills, including speaking, hearing, cognition and swallowing. This includes an assessment by our skilled speech therapists and education and treatment for language, voice, articulation, and fluency disorders. Our speech therapy team also provides care for those who struggle with comprehension, memory, processing and expression abilities.

“I loved that my mom stayed at Martha & Mary. You can tell that all her care providers really care about her as a person. From the aides to the physical therapy people their main concern is who my mom is and what is best for her care. I knew she was safe and well cared for.”
